Feels like: 89°
Humidity: 46%

Yellowtail started to finally snap up bait after a slow fishing period over the 10 days. Anglers started where catching yellowtail in at least 7 different fishing spots for a great week of exciting fishing action.
Friday, we had all 11 boats go out with enthusiastic fishermen (and women!). The total count for the day was 43 pieces of yellowtail from 20 pounders to the the biggest weighing in at a whopping 39.8 lbs. ! Above, Mr. Andy Contabel from California caught the biggest one of the day. Congratulations Andy!
The fishing spots included the area north of Loreto, Coronado Island, San Bruno reef, Punta Colorada, Puerto Almeja reef, east of Loreto off of Alfonso reef and Punta Perico Carmen Island.
The Summer bite of Dorado is starting as well but very sporadic.
Spanish Mackeral bait is being caught from the lighthouse off of Coronado Island Spanish mackerel , or big eye and mackeral just off Loreto out in front.
Bait is also available to buy at the marina on the morning.
